Wyre Forest Sheltered Housing (WFSH) tenants living at a Sheltered Housing Scheme in Stourport are extremely happy following the recent refurbishment of their lift.
The lift at William Bullock Close was refurbished as part of a five year programme being undertaken by Stannah, a long standing British, family-owned company.
CHG Property Services recognised that due to the age of the lifts, investment in maintaining reliability was essential, and a contract was offered to Stannah after a thorough selection process that also involved the tenants themselves.
Tenants with mobility issues living at William Bullock Close were supported by WFSH’s Care Services team during the time the lift was out of service, and also benefited from the use of a temporary stair lift.
Lift refurbishment work is now being carried out at Sion Gardens Sheltered Housing Scheme in Stourport.
