We are pleased to announce that one of our subsidiaries, CHG Property Services, has been chosen to deliver a 3 year major adaptations programme for Solihull Community Housing worth £0.5m.
Our building and grounds maintenance company will improve bathrooms for disabled and vulnerable tenants and homeowners across the Metropolitan Borough of Solihull.
Ian Hancock, CHG Property Service’s Director of Asset Management said “We are really pleased to be working with Solihull Community Housing through their agency, Solihull Independent Living. Our experience of delivering similar contracts across Worcestershire has helped us to develop a programme which is not only good value for money but is extremely customer focused. We understand that the nature of the work we do can be potentially disruptive and so we take extra care to make sure that customers are supported throughout the improvement works”
Solihull Community Housing’s Director of Housing, John King, said“This contract is the first SCH adaptations contract that combines both the private and public sector customers and a great deal of effort has gone into the procurement process.
SCH needed to ensure that we obtained the best balance of price and quality, and within the quality element the requirement of a customer focussed service is vital when providing adaptations for disabled and generally older residents within the Borough”
“CHG Property Services impressed the SCH Project Team with their record of successfully delivering similar contracts and their clear understanding of the works, service and approach required to deliver the works under this contract. CHG’s stated plans for the delivery of this contract are also clearly aligned with SCH requirements and aspirations, and their culture of attention to customer care and high quality service delivery was evident”
“SCH are looking forward to building an excellent working relationship with CHG to successfully deliver this important and vital service for our customers”
