After awarding a contract to maintain and refurbish lift equipment, CHG Property Services have also been on the other side. The subsidiary of The Community Housing Group has been granted extensions to two exisitng contracts.
Following an extensive tendering process, Stannah have been awarded a contract for the maintenance and refurbishment of lift equipment throughout the Group’s stock. Stannah are a British, family-owned business who have been making innovative products for over 180 years.
The refurbishment programme will primarily focus on lifts that have a high maintenance call out associated with the age of the equipment. They will be concentrating on the Sheltered Housing Schemes and will ensure the minimum of disruption for the tenants during this time.
An extension to the current building maintenance contract for the Wyre Forest District Councils’ offices has recently been agreed. By keeping the rates down and making changes to the way the service is delivered, they will be delivering a more efficient service.
They will also be introducing customer satisfaction monitoring into this contract so that they can obtain feedback which will then be used to improve the quality of their service.
CHG Property Services have also contracted to a 12 month extension to the Home Security Scheme. In conjunction with Wyre Forest District Council, they will continue to provide additional security for vulnerable residents who have recently experienced a burglary, such as window locks, window jammers and additional locks.
