CHG Property Service Apprentice is on his way to building a successful career
Second year bricklaying apprentice, Luke Cooper has been entered into a competition to find the most skilful student in the country.
Luke was required build a wall in the local heats and was placed third, enabling him to go forward to the regional stages in April at Stoke College. If successful, he has a chance to represent CHG Property Services at the national competition which takes place later in the year.
Luke is now working on an extension which will further increase his range of skills and opens up another income stream for the Company.
Bill Baker, Head of Repairs and Maintenance said "we are all delighted with Luke’s achievement and the quality of the work he has produced on his college course and in the workplace. We hope that Luke’s success will inspire other young people who are considering a career in construction, to think about apprenticeships."
